Place Value Games, Grit/Kindness Award, and More

This week we took some time to write down the positive

things we are doing at home or at school.

We realized that when we do something to brighten someone else's day

it can make us feel good!

After Share Something Great, Mrs. C gave out the Kindness and Grit awards to students. Next week,

these two students will pass their awards onto different classmates that are showing kindness and grit.

After our math lesson on writing numbers in standard form, expanded form, and word form, we played

some different place value games. We compared, matched, and had fun with our classmates!

In science, we worked with a partner to respond to one of the scenarios. After we were done writing, we

shared out our partner thinking with the class.
