Volcano and Earthquake Hazards, Partner Work, and 1st Grade Buddies!

After working on our place value skills, we met with a partner to go over our work.

This is a great opportunity for students to coach one another!

In science, we read about volcano and earthquake hazards with a partner.

We used this information, plus the information we gathered from a video to

complete the "Cause and Effect" activity with our table group.

Last week's winners of the Grit and Kindness awards 

presented their awards to classmates this week.

The kids are learning how to elaborate and give examples of great things happening

when sharing about their classmates that won for the week.

We met with our buddies and completed an activity to learn more about one another.

When we were done, we tried our best with acrostic poetry.

It was a great week in Room 44!
