Circuits, Division, and "One Word"

Congratulations to our Kindness and Grit Winners this week!

We presented our book club projects to the class!
In our slideshows, we worked on explaining the theme, how the main character changes from the beginning to the end of the book, completing a summary, and creatively
writing a different ending to the book.
Our next book clubs will begin after winter break.
YAY!!!

We read a book called One Word and completed a few activities to go along with the book.
When our special someones came, we made our bracelets with our one word.
We also wrote why the word we chose is our word.

We have been working so hard to gain mastery of long division.
One day this week, we worked on solving division problems to complete a mystery picture.

We also practiced solving division problems that were posted around the classroom!

We also created some "Turktacular Division" turkeys!

We brought out the big foam dice to create division problems.
We solved problems where we divide by one digit and began to solve problems
where we divided by 2 digits!

Our rock-paper-scissor battle before the dice roll was a huge hit!

We worked in teams to create different circuits.
We started off by working to turn on a grain of wheat light.

We drew pictures of our circuits.

We did some buddy games for long division where the winner has the highest sum of remainders.
