Fireman Joe Visits, Memory, Mixed Number Dice, and Word Problem Challenges

Our leader of the week is sharing her poster and pictures with the class!




Fireman Joe stopped by 4th grade to talk to us about smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.
He also talked with us about making sure we have a meeting spot with our families at the front of the house and the importance of sleeping with our doors shut.



We worked on our working memory skills by playing a good old fashioned game of MEMORY!

My plant is blooming for a second time. YAYYY!!


While some students in class were busy with leadership teams, we took the opportunity to be there for our buddy class! We love visiting Mrs. Farley's friends!
This week we read folktales to them.
We also taught them how to play the game "Eleven."







We walked around the room for math on Friday solving word problems on envelopes.

The activity not only had the kids solve the problem, but they had to prove their answer with models or number lines. Way to go, Cacioppo Crew!
